I feel that children being part of the rebels is wrong. One of the biggest reasons why it is wrong because boys are always looking for a role model. The only people they can look up to is the older rebel men who are terrible, evil people. Since they are all just boys they will be practically brainwashed into thinking killing people is right. Also these boys will probably stay with the rebels because their homes and families were probably destroyed by the rebels. I believe that having children being part of the rebels is very incorrect and disturbing.
I think that children being apart of the rebels is terrible. They are just kids and already they are forced into violence. They will never have a normal childhood now that they were forced into killing people and burning down villages. For the rest of the children's lives they will remember what they had to do and won't ever be able to forget all of the horrors that they have seen. They had to leave their families and go live with really evil men. Children that were a part of the rebels is wrong and horrifying. -Caroline McDonnell
