Yes, I would go to the U.S. for a better life. Not only wold I be helping myself, but also my family. Once in the U.S., I would be able to get an education and a well-paying job. Once I have enough money supporting myself, I could send money to my family back in Africa and support them. Maybe after a while working, I would have enough money to send my family members to the U.S. to live with me. Even if I can't, I would still be able to send food, clothes, and money to them so they can live a better life than before.
If I had the chance to leave for the U.S for a better life i would take it in a heartbeat. The camps have terrible conditions. They are dirty and have many diseases. While the U.S is Clean and has good sanitation. By going to the U.S i could get a good education and get a job. So if i had the chance for a better life i would take it. -Caroline McDonnell
